Practice Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide the best orthodontic care to our patients while maintaining a fun, casual and comfortable environment. We desire to provide the best service to our patients and their families in the East Valley. Our goal is to be known as the best orthodontic office in which to work and to receive care in the East Valley.

We will accomplish this by:
  • Consistently surveying and listening to our patients' needs and desires… and by exceeding both of them.
  • Having open and truthful communication between all patients and office staff and by continually educating our staff in all phases of orthodontics.
  • By realizing that all who enter our office are human beings and children of God who deserve the very best we have to offer.



Financial Information
It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! The financial plan for braces will be determined after a thorough examination by Dr. Chamberlain. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Please ask us our treatment coordinator about financing options, credit card payments and bank drafts. We thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs.

Additional Charges:
Since your orthodontic treatment fee does NOT include charges for broken or lost braces, there will be additional charges if loss or breakage becomes excessive. Additional charges may also stem from poor cooperation that extends the estimated treatment time beyond 4 to 6 months. In rare cases, treatment is discontinued due to a severe lack of cooperation in wearing the removable appliances or due to a failure to adhere to this financial agreement.


Scheduling Appointments
We have devoted considerable time and effort into designing our scheduling system. Here is what we want you to do: First, we want to see you on time for your appointment. Second, we want to have adequate time during each appointment to complete the necessary procedures. Third, we wish to answer questions and update your treatment progress.

Our approach:
Emergencies, longer appointments and repairs, which are few in number, are scheduled during our morning or early afternoon hours. In this way after school appointments will accommodate as many families as possible. If you should ever wish to come to our office during a quieter time, please ask to schedule an appointment during late morning hours.

Some appointments are short. During your treatment there are times when the adjustments are completed quickly even though they may be quite technical. We have tried to design treatment methods that limit your inconvenience.

Because the schedule is carefully crafted, your late arrival can pose a problem. In fairness to other scheduled patients, should you arrive late, we may find it necessary to reschedule your appointment. Rescheduling appointments

We ask for at least 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment, as we have set aside time to accommodate your specific needs. Missed appointments or numerous appointment changes will inevitably result in an extension of your treatment time and could result in additional charges. Our goal in rescheduling appointments is to keep your treatment progressing and on time. Waiting for a convenient after school appointment can delay treatment.


Insurance
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.

To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.

  • We accept all PPO and indemnity insurance plans even though we are not a participating member
  • Usually our fees are very close to the allowed fees on the different plans
  • The only plans we do not accept are any managed care, HMO or DMO plans

Tuesday 8 am – 5 pm
Wednesday 8 am – 5 pm
Thursday 7 am – 4 pm
Friday (Emergency Appointments) 8 am – 4 pm
